The roof mounted display has been nicely engineered and lifts up to reveal the caution display panel which has an authentic look and feel with the printing mimicking tiny LEDs with two large circular red plastic lenses on the upper corners. (For anyone with electronics knowledge, it shouldn't be too hard to replace the amber and red lights with LEDs and insert the battery inside the model).
As well as the raise up display, there is a slide out panel which lowers into position behind the van, complete with fold out side panels with red and white chevron pattern and authentic number plate. The van has a different style of wheel hubs than the standard Mammoet version and the front wheels do have working steering with limited movement. It is interesting that on the underside of the van, there is a spare wheel which does not match the design of the wheels fitted to the axles.
